Get perfect roast potatoes every time!!
Half a 1 Kg bag of Potatoes, peeled and washed
Pinch of Salt
Cracked Black Pepper
2 Pinches of Marjoram
A Pinch of Saffron
Cut the potatoes to equal sizes, and boil (Adding the saffron and a little salt) for around 15 minutes, or until almost cooked through.
In a baking tray, pour the potatoes, which should have been drained. Sprinkle the seasonings onto the potatoes and some oil.
Turn the oven to 180 degrees and roast for around 30-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown. Serve with the Roast Chicken, vegetables and gravy. Enjoy!!
*If desired(and cooking for meat eaters only), roast the potatoes in duck or goose fat. It makes the crispiest roast potatoes ever!
